Up to now we have not had any major delays getting products from our vendors. After contacting my vendors today there have been some changes.
Update 3 4/23/2020
One of our main vendors in New York that had been closed is now open with limited hours and shipping twice a week. All of the frames and lenses we order are now coming in on a regular basis. While our goal is to get your orders to you in 5 to 7 working days, eta is now anywhere from 5 to 9 days.
Update 2 4/1/2020
Another of our vendors has closed due to the Coronavirus. They are in Bronx, NY and have been ordered to shut down. I have compiled a list of the brands still shipping on time as well as the brands that are not. See the list here-
Update 1 3/30/2020
Most of our frame vendors have figured out how to have employees work from home and how to get stuff shipped, we are seeing less delays. Normally it takes 3 to 7 days to get your order once placed. Right now you should get your orders somewhere between 5 and 9 days, so not too bad!
Original post below...
While we stock a wide selection of frames, many styles are ordered from our vendors as needed. Our goal is to get your order to you within one week but there are now some delays.
Currently, all but one vendor is operational. We have temporarily hidden that vendor's frames on our site until we can get an update from that company. Those brands are Sierra, Attitudes, Retro TR90, Oxygen, and English Laundry. We have notified each customer with pending orders.
The others vendors are working with reduced staff and hours and taking orders remotely. One vendor is only shipping our orders once a week delaying how quickly we can get them to you.
Basically, products are flowing, just more slowly. At this point in time you can expect about a one week delay. As things change we will update this post.
We will make it through this tough time if we work together. Everyone stay healthy!
