FINDING THE RIGHT READING GLASSES FOR YOU - THE LENS POWER.

What distance do you want to read at?

  • Up-close? Up close reading is typically 12 to 14 inches away.
  • Computer distance? Computer or intermediate reading is at about arms length.
  • Computer and up-close? Computer bifocals solve both issues with the top for computer and the bottom for reading.
  • Know the power you need for the distance you want? Great! If not,
  • Take our reading test. You can take a quick reading test to determine your near or computer power.
  • Or, ask your Eye Doctor. Determine what distance away from you that you spend most of your time reading, and consult with your Eye Doctor.
  • Or, send us your Rx. We will evaluate what power you need. If you need prescription (Rx) glasses for reading, computer, or distance, we can help. For further information go to our Rx page.

FINDING THE RIGHT READING GLASSES FOR YOU - LENS TINTS and AR COATINGS.

To help alleviate problems with Computer Vision Syndrome and blue light issues, we offer several solutions:

Mojo BluBlock AR - Our option on all of our single vision readers, Mojo BluBlock AR is our own premium anti-reflective coating that reflects off blue light. It has no tint. It includes a scratch resistant coating and a hydrophobic coating that makes them easier to keep clean.

Mojo BluBlock Tints - We have added our Mojo BluBlock Tints as an option to most of our single vision and bifocal reading glasses. These tints are available in 3 colors and 4 tint depths. Amber is the first choice for nighttime use with hand held devices and computers. Brown is great for indoor daytime use. Grey is good for outdoor reading.

Mojo AR Coatings - Our standard Mojo AR anti-reflective coating is available on all of our bifocal and computer bifocal reading glasses. AR coatings reduce glare and make the lenses disappear. They do not reflect or filter blue light.
